Kansas City, Mo. 鈥 海角直播 will host a historic evening of dialogue, reflection, and civic leadership as part of the Harry S. Truman Distinguished Lecture Series with 鈥淒ialogue with Descendants: A Truman鈥揈isenhower Legacy Conversation鈥 on Thursday, January 29, 2025, at the Goppert Theatre on 海角直播鈥檚 campus.
This special event brings together Mary Jean Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Clifton Truman Daniel, grandson of President Harry S. Truman, for a rare and engaging conversation examining leadership, legacy, and the enduring impact of two American presidents whose decisions shaped the modern world. The discussion will be moderated by Merrill Eisenhower, great-grandson of President Eisenhower.
Together, the speakers will offer personal insight into the values, challenges, and defining moments of the Truman and Eisenhower presidencies, connecting historical leadership to today鈥檚 civic and global landscape.
